Started working alongside our family business 'Shamoun Power Group S.A.R.L' while pursuing Electrical Engineering. Identified the inefficiency in making common calculations like wire sizing and voltage drop calculations using calculators, which sparked my initial venture into automation tools.
2017

Began designing projects using my custom calculation tools. In February, independently designed a 120kW solar project. Successfully managed dozens of other projects while continuously improving and enhancing all calculation tools based on real-world implementation experience.
2018

Developed a complete solar design simulation software that integrated all tools, featuring data collection from deployed projects. Fine-tuned calculations for location-specific factors and PV panel brands, achieving remarkable accuracy while preventing human calculation errors.
As a hobby, created a free Learning Management System (LMS) for schools, replacing their existing systems with enhanced security and privacy standards. Developed a dental clinic management platform, all built with high cybersecurity standards including AES encryption, firewalls, and protection against SQL injection, CSRF, and XSS.

The Realization: As software complexity grew, discovered that my skills and passions aligned more with software engineering than electrical engineering. Found that one hour of software work could accomplish what took five days in electrical engineering. This led to the inception of ARZS.NET, focusing on developing services to help companies excel, including advancements in medical platforms.

Despite global challenges with financial crisis and COVID-19, utilized the time to expand technical expertise. Enhanced system architecture skills for cloud and positioned server deployments. Became proficient in orchestration services like Kubernetes, serverless functions, and microservices. Transitioned to more performant languages like Rust and Go. Released first version of clinic software.
